Our tour of Sorrento, Positano and the Amalfi coast was absolutely fantastic. Mariano, our guide and driver, did a great job of describing many of the small details about the country and the culture. We were pleased with his command of english and his knowledge of many analogs of Italian vs. American expressions and customs. We highly recommend this service.

If you can imagine being met in a foreign country by a member of your family who you have never met and being taken to the most amazing sites in Italy. But at that same time feeling so comfortable as if you have know this person forever, well that was my families experience with Pleasant Travel. Mariano treated us like we were family and I thank him for myself, my family and friends for this wonderful experience.

I just want to tell you what a wonderful and joyous time we had when Piscille and Antonio picked up the Albers party (of which I was a part) in Naples, Italy, on June 23, 2008. We enjoyed the whole day; Piscille was a fabulous guide, and Antonio an excellent driver. Our cruise was wonderful, but our day on the Amalfi Coast, which included a visit to the Family Farm, was the highlight of the trip. Thank you so very very much for sharing that part with us, and for the whole adventurous day. Our pictures tell a great story. Thank you and Grazie. Thank you so much for the wonderful day tour of the Amalfi Coast. What a great day we all had and you looked after us all very well, taking us to all the pretty villages along the coast - and the scenery was absolutely spectacular. Your tour was far better than we could have hoped for and the 5 of us had one of the most memorable days of our trip to Italy. I will be recommending you to my friends who may be visiting the Amalfi area in the near future. I also hope that your son has recovered from his knee operation and is beginning to get around OK. I just wanted to follow up with you and tell you that our day with Priscilla and Antonio on 23 June was absolutely wonderful! Both were extremely courteous and delightful and willing to accommodate our every wish. Priscilla was very knowledgeable about all thing Italian and Amalfi! In addition to our tour through the area, we also enjoyed visiting with your family and partaking in salumi, wine and even lemoncello! I make lemoncello at my home and it was a treat to share our recipes for making this delicious beverage. This day was definitely the highlight of our Italy trip and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone seeking your services.

I wanted to tell you how much we so enjoyed our time with you. You were like family with us. We didn’t even think of you as a driver or someone we hired to show us the sites. We felt like we were driving with someone from our family and visiting his home. I am so happy we were able to share our family experiences with you. The best part of our trip were the days we spent with you. Our only regret is that we did not get to meet your family. I hope next time we visit Italy we have a chance to do that. On behalf of our entire family, we cannot thank you enough for the time, the history, the stories, the laughter, and the knowledge that you brought to us on our recent trip to Italy. We saw so much and learned so much because of you. You made our short time there an experience that we will remember for a lifetime. We cannot thank you enough for showing us so much and for also sharing your local culture with us. As an Italian family, I can’t tell you how much my dad and all of us enjoyed talking with you, seeing the sites, and stopping at not only the beautiful sites but the places you chose for gelato, pizza, wine, etc. You gave us more than a tour of your country, you gave us a part of yourself and made us feel we were at home.
