We had a fantastic time in September 2016 with Mariano as our guide. It a very special day visiting Vila d'este and the winery. What was absolutely spectacular was the restaurant we were taken to for lunch. Just wow. The scenery was so very beautiful with the ruins and eating right there at the bottom of the ruins was very memorable. Italy is truly a magical country.

I am planning a trip to Sicily and Malta in August. At the end of the trip I will be staying in Rome for one extra day. I haven't made my flight plans yet but I think my flight will arrive in Rome mid-morning.

I'm thinking about visiting other sites with you as our guide.

Mariano- Just Fantastico!!
I along with my 3 childhood friends from India were on an reunion trip to Southern Italy mid Jan. We had the pleasure of using Pleasant Travel for two days in Naples.
Day 1 - Mt. Vesuvius & Pompeii
Day 2 - Amalfi Coast & Sorrento.
Initially, I was skeptical about hiring a car online but our experience was just fabulous. Mariano knows the places like his home and he took us to points/spots which we would never ever been able to experience/visit had we taken a coach tour.

To top it all, Mariano is a very genuine, honest and friendly guy - a gentleman to the core who always gave our interests and safety a priority. We wouldn't have enjoyed our stay in Naples without Mariano and his guidance. Thank you for everything Mariano. Stay Blessed. I have no hesitation in recommending him for your travels/tours around Naples.

I heard so many good reviews about Amalfi coast and as my husband and I only had 2 days in Sorrento, we decided to engage a day tour and that was how i chanced upon Mariano's review on tripadvisor.
His rates are quite reasonable considering u get him as a private driver and he speaks good english.
I had many communication prior arriving and he gave us very detailed descriptions and different places we can opt to visit during our trip. He picked us up at Naples train station and we started our wonderful day trip, visiting many places like Amalfi town, Ravello, Positano etc. etc.
He gave great information as we drove, and also offered to take many photos for us. The Almafi coast is truly a must visit location, but more importantly, Mariano's great driving skills ensured that we felt safe while enjoying the amazing view.

Amazing tour and very reasonable price!!! We hired Mariano to pick us up at the Naples train station on our way to Sorrento! I picked us up and brought us to Pompeii and to climb Vesuvius.
He waited with our bags by the car to ensure their safety! The next day he picked us up in the morning from our hotel in Sorrento and brought us for a breathtaking tour of the coast all the way to Ravello with stops in Positano and Amalfi ! We had lunch and an authentic restaurant in the hills. It was the best meal we had in Italy! We also did the Emerald Grotto !
Mariano's vast knowledge of the area was incredible! He will tailor your tour to whatever you want! Don't miss this opportunity! My teens loved him!

We joined friends who arranged this trip, and it was the highlight of our time in Italy. Mariano was such a good driver (I don't like heights, so some of the roads made me close my eyes, but I was never worried about his ability, which helped a lot).
He was knowledgeable about the history and sites of the area and helpful with my companion's collapsible wheelchair. We got to see so much in our day at the port of Salerno. He even took us to his family's farm for a fantastic lunch complete with homemade wine.
What an incredible Amalfi Coast Experience with Mariano!
I can't wait to visit this area again, and I will definitely be booking a trip with Mariano when I do!

We have been back home in New York for a week, and have since taken our son Andrew to college. Our busy schedules impacted our timeliness in sending this email. In the past week we have heard the very sad news of the earthquake in Italy and were shaken by the news. We truly hope no one in your family or loved ones was impacted by this true tragedy? Our hearts go out to your country.
